Introduction to Blacksmithing Workshop

Ironman Blacksmithing ran our first Introduction to Blacksmithing workshops of 2025 this past weekend and we as the hosts and all the participants had a really great time. We love meeting all the enthusiastic participants and they quickly feel like friends as we spend the day together playing with hot metal at the forge and anvil.

in our Introduction blacksmithing workshops our participants learn basic shop safety then start on a practice project that can later be turned into a steak flipper or ornamental decor. We then move on to make an outdoor fire poker using blacksmithing foundation skills. Participants are shown a variety of options for customizing their fire poker and they are welcome to be even more creative by making their own designs. At the end of the day everyone went home with a one-of-a-kind product that they were very proud of.

Our Introduction workshops run from 9:30am-3:30 pm and are $210/person. We have a few dates currently set aside in February and March, but we are open to clients suggesting dates that suite their schedules. This is a terrific event for organized groups, families, corporate team building, and home schoolers.
